Hi Roadie, and thanks for that info, I guess that I understand it, but can I make any adjustments? Do I need certain meters for it? Or, leave it to an amp tech? for which there is no one in my area! thanx Ricstar

Not Roadie, but stratele52,

Better try to find a good tech fot that, too bad you don't have one in your area. But are you sure ?
Sometimes a good tech can work at is home and know only by some musicians.

If you want to have an idea how to bias a amp go to You Tube: bias a amp.
You'll see.

Hey Ric, I agree with Stratele. At this point in time , I think you will need help. I too, live in a small town(pop-6000). 35yrs ago, I decided to learn about amps, started at the library with basic electronic books. But fortunately, I ran across three retired electronic guys that really helped me. They were right there in front of me, a neighbor, a guy at church, and another I met while providing the sound system and playing at a peace demonstration. Just trying to say, that sometimes the resources are closer than we think. You might want to try"Vacuum Tubes" on the Wikipedia site, for a good introduction. Good Luck ! Art
