Greetings,
Did Fender ever use the C15N "Concert" speaker in any of its old amplifiers?
If so , was it the alnico,ceramic, or both?
Is there a difference in the wattage of the ceramic vs. the Alnico C15N speaker? I know the ceramic 60's Jensen c15N "Concert" is 50 watts, but I have looked till I am blue in the face and cannot find anty information on the wattage of the alnico C15N Jensen.
Thanks.

Fender has used some C12N but no C15N, Ampeg was using the C15N in some of its amps.

Also, the C15N is the ceramic, the Alnico is the P15N, both 50w.

I have seen original and unmolested examples of '64 Vibroverbs and non-reverb Pro Amps that were fitted with the C15N as factory equipment. Oxfords seemed to be the prevalent OEM speaker but there are a few around with the Jensens.

Oh really? C15N the ceramic? Check out this old Speaker I have. It has an Alnico sticker on it, and the speaker code ( hard to read) on the frame clearly sates it is a C15n! Was that sticker put on falsely by someone? ;

Either the frame was incorrectly ink-stamped at the factory or the foil-cal on the magnet has been "transplanted" from another speaker.

The "C" in Jensen's designation scheme identified a speaker with a ceramic magnet.

A "P" would denote an alnico version.

An "F" or "FC" identified a field-coil magnet (ie: electro-magnetic) driver.
