The amp has been great and I have gotten a lot of positive feed back. I give a lot of credit to everyone who helped.

Now, I have more question. I have a hum when I take me hand off of the guitar strings. Does mean I need to replace the caps?

Thanks in advance!

A likely possibility if the amp hasn't yet been re-capped. It may also be a grounding issue.

A full bench-check by a qualified tech wouldn't be a bad idea.

In 45 years of owning, playing, collecting, repairing, and restoring Fender amps I've never even seen one, other than photos in books!

Any Tremolux is among the rarest of Fender models, but an EL84-powered 6G9 has to be the rarest of all.

Wow, never heard that before. I like '84's very much and would so love to hear that in a Leo circuit. T

Check out this sweet set!

Reminds me, a friend will soon be selling off a beautiful brown set: Princeton, reverb unit, and rare ext. cab. Don't know how much he wants..
