Totally agree Arjay - love the pictures, but when they aren't relevant or don't answer the question posted they're not helpful and are sometimes more frustrating.

Chromeface - I'd suggest you start a new thread of just amp pictures and add to it; that way people will have a resource they can refer to without having a bunch of images that are certainly cool, but may or may not be relevant to the question. If you want to post random pictures of other people's amps that you have googled, fine, but you need to make it clear they're not your amps. Too many people on these forums have their own amps and it needs to be clear when someone is posting pics of their own gear vs. pics they've found that aren't theirs.

I was thinking seriously about your suggestion, as I do not own any of these amps. To satisfy your curiosity, here's my own viewpoint concerning your worries:

The pics I'm posting came from different sources and I intend to use them ONLY for general and reference purposes. None of these axes are mine.

Really, I like this cool stuff a lot!

We all enjoy the pictures, but when they're not related to the question, it gets frustrating - you posted countless pictures of the wrong Tremolux. For people with slow internet connections, it can make them very angry.

I'd suggest starting links on these great pictures instead, or providing the URLs to avoid clogging things up, especially with gear that isn't yours.

Good idea! Why not, after all?

Currently I'm working around a solution to the problem which consists to add the pictures on one post and the corresponding URLs on another, or embed both pictures and URLs into a single thread. However, this workaround takes a lot of time to be efficient enough so I'll probably need further help and assistance to develop a similar idea based on your suggestions.
