hey everyone, i was playing my amp the other day and all of a sudden it just decided to power down. i checked the fuse and sure enough, its blown. i've only had the amp for under a year so i'm not sure how many times the fuse has been replaced before, and if it has the correct type of fuse in it, so before i buy one i'd like to know exactly what type of fuse i need.

it says "2 amp slo-blo fuse" on the back, and the blown fuse is labelled "2A 250V".. is 250V correct?
thanks

Yeah Acoustic, that's the right fuse. Now, those fuses are usually called time delay. But you should be able to find that 2amp fuse at a good hardware store. You'll be able to see the difference: the fast- blo will have a straight wire filament; the slo-blo will have a wound wire filament and some type of insulator. Nice amp! Art

Your old fuse should say : 2A SB 250V

If it say only 2A 250 V, it's a fast blow. Maybe that's why it burn.

Slow Blow are not easier to find for most people that's why they put what they found.

Modern fuse is call often "time delay" that same as Slow Blow.

Go to Radio Shack or The Source.

250 v or 125v it's ok
