hi everyone, i was playing last nigth with my fender champ ('69 early silverface champ amp) and i noticed that the sound between the inst. inputs sound pretty different

i normally use the first one. it sounds clean and brigth :D , but when i pluggeg my strat in the second one sound warm and with less volume :?
even played with no effects.

is that normal or maybe a problem ... what can be the cause ?

It's normal. Input 2 is for higher output pickups. If I remember, it's about a 6db drop. I might be wrong. My 74 SF Champ does it too.

I agree, it's normal and a nice feature.

IIRC it's standard on most Fender amps to allow for single coil and humbucker guitars. I usually like to plug in to "1" with humbuckers anyway.
