Nevin, I'm thinking '36-'40 Valco, mainly because of that rectifier tube. The 6C5 is a metal tube, right? I'm gonna' stick my neck out and suggest that the 6L6GC is not original to the design. Does it have a field coil speaker? If not, that would explain the 6L6 and a larger OT transformer. But that's not important, if the amp works and sounds good! I have an early 50's Valco that's just great! And like that amp, has the multiple pre amp gain stages. Art
