K, here's an ad i came across. 1983 Concert head

http://kitchener.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-se ... Z184517068

what might be wrong with it? from his description does the 100 repair seem right? also is the asking price resonable?

Pretty much all info is appreciated, Should i steer clear? or look deeper?

Thanks,

Yeah I agree with Cherokee. The quote of a $100 labor cost, implies that the tech has already diagnosed the problems. But the seller doesn't seem to know what repairs are needed, hum. If the amp was in good operating condition, then $400 would be a very good price. Art

I'd take off, eh?

Some guy fixed it but didn't really and he didn't take it back? Sounds like a bad idea, even for $300.

If you were handy with a soldering iron and could do the work yourself, I'd say maybe, but without pictures (detailed pictures) of the amp's innards, no way.
