I own an almost stock early-march '67 Princeton Reverb Amp. The only things done to it were; a newer 3-prong power cord (for safety). The previous owner had installed an early-90's 12" Fender blue label special design speaker. New tubes (Ruby) and bias adjusted in 2001.
Any suggestions for a replacement 12" speaker?

I am leaning toward a Weber 25Watt C12F150 or a vintage Jensen C12 based on internet research. I am eager to hear your opinions.

I had a 1966 Vibrolux Reverb modded many years ago and eventually regretted it  . The amp is returned as much to stock as possible now.
The original transformers and Jensen speakers were not messed with, however holes were drilled in the underside and rear of the chassis (none in the faceplate) and some minor parts were discarded.

I'd never do it again.

I have a 1968 Princeton Rever pretty similar to yours. Its a great amp!

If I decide to put a 12" speaker in it I'd probably go with a Weber 12F150 or equivalent Eminence.
I'd also cut a new baffle and store the original speaker and baffle.

I would try the 12" Eminence and if you can find one a Paul Rivera tuned Eminence from around 1991...you may be able to order it from Rivera Amplification Research in Sun Valley Calif.
