Hey guys, newb here. Not new to using Fender gear, just to the board. About 15 years ago I bought an old Fender cab in a pawn shop for $50. I think it's an old Bandmaster/Bassman/or Showman cab, but not really sure. I was the size of a Showman cab, but black tolex, black grillcloth, big Fender heavy chrome logo emblem, and a white JBL emblem on the front too. It's loaded with a single JBL D140F speaker. About 4 months ago, I brought it out of the barn, where it's been kept for about 10 years. Of course I had JBL speaker in my studio all that time, just not the cab. I repainted it a nice tangerine orange color, repainted the rear panel and front speaker board black. The speaker needs the dust cover replaced. But the actual condition of the cab is a 7.5 out of a possible 10. I really didn't think it would be worth much now, but as I was surfin ebay I noticed a few old showman cabs going for around $1500.00. Anyone know specifically which cab I have and a ball park estimate of what this puppy's worth?

Thanks in advance for any help.
Terry

Sounds (from description) to be a limited Fender bass cab...but if you could posts pictures, it will be much clearer.

Never seen a single 15" Bassman cab. Not saying they don't exist. The couple dozen or so that I've seen are 2-12 or 2-15. I think it's a Showman cab. They did have single 15" tone ring cabs as an option. Hope this helps........... 8)

Thanks guys. I'll take some pic's soon and post them. From the other cabs I've seen for sale on ebay, it does look like a showman cab, but the showman cab's I've seen aren't covered with black tolex.

I had a 2-15 Dual Showman cab that was a 67 model and it had black tolex on the cab and the normal blackface grill material of that year........ 8) Mike
