Yep...Good eye on my part. Played the Strat with the two-amp setup. Again, the Pro is higher-fidelity, the Vibroverb has more character. Pro wins on clean, VV on crunch, they each have their own charm on the tremolo and reverb side.
PRO=THUMP
VIBRO=SPANK

Man, you make me want a Pro again. 2 x 12's and blackface clean is a fantastic thing.

I currently have one for sale on eBay and am trying to decide on the value as well. I have seen them advertised by retail vintage stores anywhere from $4500 to $3800 depending on originality and condition. I love the amp, but need to sell it. It really is a holy grail amp.

I came into one a couple of years ago for......$50. Needed new caps and tubes, the 15" is amazing in it-Darn near the holy grail. Shame that it will rarely have the cover taken off or get used for a gig. Even kept the vacuum cleaner-style cord.

Your amp must be the one Cory told me about... did he do the work? What a deal!!

I have had this amp for 5 years now. The last time I had it serviced, it was just a tube change and it was at Dynamic Electronic Service in IL. He's the guy that built the Chicago Bluesbox amplifiers. A great tech and all around nice guy. He's a wizard with Fender amps. He basically made a replica of Buddy Guy's '59 Bassman for him to tour with.
