I have a 68 twin that goes everywhere with me, but in the studio the other day i got to use a ac30, fell inlove with it and i bought one today, i was just interested in what people though against the two of them, and maybe pros and cons...etc

Apples to oranges - both great amps with different tones. 6L6's vs. EL34s, different amp topologies, different speakers, etc.

The old AC30's are apparently great; the reissues have not been met with as kindly as say the Fender reissues of the Twin, Deluxe, Princeton, etc.

Dr. Z makes a lot of EL34 amps that are similar and much more durable if you're liking that tone; their amps are worth checking out.
