Hey i have a 1965 Fender AA764 Champ amp w/ the black face and brown tweed. It is all original and the face and tweed are in great shape. Do you guys have any idea what its worth? Im looking to get a smaller practice amp and would like to get rid of this one.

Thanks

Wow, that seems to be an unusual amp. 1964 was a transition year for the Champ. Going from the older tweed design cab, in tweed and black tolex, to the front-facing control panel cab in black tolex. A picture of the outside and chassis interior, sure would help. Art

Why sell it? You won't get anything built like that today. It is funny, the 1965 Fender AA764 is only listed as black tolex from 64 till it went Silverface in 68. Art's right. It would be really unusual. I would love to see some photos.

Yep, that's a beauty!!! I sure would reconsider selling it off. That should be a wonderful little hand wired Class A amp. I guess you have your reasons for getting another small amp. Anyway, folks here can help you with the market-value questions, better than myself. Art

+1

I thought the only transitional Champs came out in 1964 where they were putting the black tolex on the smaller 5F1 cabinet.

Like I said before, I would keep it. You'll get maybe $400 -$500 tops and be losing a great hand wired amp that's great for practice and recording.
