Hello; I recently purchased a Black Twead Blues Jr. amp in NY. Out of the box I started to hear a noise when I hit certain low notes on my guitar. The noise continues even when the guitar note stops vibrating...this happens with the master and volume are up past 5 or so. I tried all different setting with the B, T and M. I even moved tubes around. I don't have tubes to replace- just moved them around. I use a brand new AMERICAN STRAT; A 60th Anniversary FAT STRAT; LENNON CASINO from GIBSON EPIPHONE and a BRIAN MOORE solid body. All make the noise. I also use a MARSHALL 60 WT COMBO and it doesn't make this noise.

Any idea?
Thanks
AM

I would take it back and it checked out.

Had a similar occurence. Took it back and they tightened up all the screws and bolts and noise disappeared. Have also heard of tube sockets buzzing--but that was not my problem.

:) Hi - Yep - Before I drove an hour to take the amp back to the store IN NY - I called and their technican suggested taping the tubes. I found one that made the noise and I switched it with another tube. The noise is gone.
Probably reseated it or it was a Mico- something or other tube.

Thanks
