I traded my DSL 100 watter for this:

Silverface DR

We thought it was a '72, but it looks like it's actually a '71. Has been modded with a Master Volume and a XLR output, both which will be removed during its first visit to the tech. Unfortunately the removing of the Master Volume will leave a hole in the in the faceplate.

So......where can I buy a replacement faceplate? I know they can be found on eBay, but are there any other places? I saw this place, but they are in the UK and I'm in the states:

Anywhere else I should look?

Anyways, I'm really digging this thing and I can't wait to hear it again when it's returned to stock!

What kind of speaker is in there?

Here's another place to try for face plates :

May be my only option for a silverface replacement.

Thanks for the link. I'm still undecided on whether I want to have the amp modded to blackface specs and buy a blackface faceplate, or stick with silveface. I'm not sure how the blackface faceplate would look with the silverface-style grill cloth.

Eminence Legend. After I get the amp back to stock I'll decide if I want to leave it in there. Seems alright so far, but I can't help but wonde would other speakers would sound like.
