The Super Reverb '65 Reissue is not on this website under Vintage Reissue Amps. Did Fender discontinue it?

I think the answer is yes, they have been discontinued. I can find them for sale at various vendors web site but i think those might be old stock as I was unable to find them listed in Fender's current product line on this web site. That is curious to me as the Super was a great amp and should be kept alive.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

It's a shame. The DeVille 4x10 motors on while and amazing amp like the 65 SRRI fades away. I just don't get it.

It's the affordability issue, I guess. I really, truly do not like those HotRod amps but they sell like hotcakes because they are cheaper than good amps.

(Actually the Blues Deville in tweed and 212 wasn't as bad as the other models I tried.)

The tweed covering means nothing. I believe they put better speakers in the tweeds. Jensons I think. God forbid they put good speakers in them in the first place.

Yes, Jensens came in the tweeds, IIRC. They sounded better than Emminence Special Design in the non tweeds.

The Fender Super Reverb '65 Reissue is back on the website so I guess it was not discontinued.
