I ordered these a few weeks ago and someone asked me to report back once i got them back and tried them.

I ordered the 12AX7s baldwin inspected (They had the green baldwin logo on them), four of them for my 65 twin reverb that i paired with two tesla/JJ 12AT7.

Basically i tryed and MIA tele and an ibanez SZR and basically they took down all the high trebles and added alot of middle and bass so it really tamed the highs.

I still have the problem that the reverb is alot more noticeable but its still not quite there. everything plugged in propperly to the tank but im not sure what else it could be.

Hey Big, those sound like nice tubes, in fact I don't know that you want to use a really good tone tube in the V5 position. All you need is a functional 12AX7 to oscilate the vib circuit. It's not in the signal chain. For that reverb, maybe it's time for new cables and a tank. I've only had to replace a reverb transformer once, and in that case the customer wanted the tranny, tank, caps, and cables replaced. Must admit, that sure kick started that reverb in the old Twin.
