I have a '66 Champ amp blackface- AA764, with original RCA tubes and JBL speaker. I just had it checked out and it is in excellent condition. I have owned it since '68 and played on it very little. I need to let it go and get something bigger. Anybody know about how much it would be worth, or where I can find some info?

700.00-800.00 on a good day. Economy sucks right now but that's where I'd start out on it.. Hope this helps. You can also do a completed listings on Ebay to see what they are going for. 8) Mike

$700 to $800 is what you will find vintage shops/dealers selling blackface Champs. You can verify those prices at www.gbase.com

ebay pricing for vintage Fenders is tracked at the Fender Field Guide. The blackface Champs average around $450 on ebay

If you list the amp on Craigslist, I think you might be able to get closer to the $700 mark.

Good luck.... I horse traded for '66 Champ off of Craigslist that was in excellent condition.... love the tone.

Yeah, a lot of variance in what you could fetch for it depending on demand, financial issues, where listed, creative marketing, etc.

Good luck!

It might be hard to get $700-800 for a BF Champ. Nice amps, but $400-600 would be it for me and it would have to be really clean.
You can get a sweet BF Bandmaster for not much more. I love Champs, but I wouldn't pay that kind of scratch for it. My 74 Champ only cost me $150.

It just depends on how lucky you are. The economy is pretty rough all over though.

I paid $575.00 for my 1966 Champ. One small tear in grill cloth, one tube replaced. One sound issue and that is at low volume I get a loud crackle often enough for it to be annoying. Love the tone.
