I’m have a problem with my 1965 Super Reverb. It starts to oscillate as the amp warms up. If I taplightly on the amp, it sounds like one tube might “microphonic”. Any other ideas?

Also I replaced the all 4 of the original speakers. Are the old speakers worth reconing? (from a collectors point of view).

Other than that, I love this amp!

If you're happy with the speakers in the amp right now, don't worry about reconing the other ones, but still keep them. If you ever sell the amp, sell the original speakers with it and let the buyer decide if they want to recone and reinstall them.

How old are the tubes you have in the amp right now? Try replacing them one by one to figure which one is microphonic. Does the oscillation go away once the amp is warmed up? It could be coming from a tube. See if it goes away once you put in new tubes. If you describe the oscillation (what it sounds like) in more detail I can give you a pretty good idea as to where it's coming from.
