I just got a Gibson '79 es175cc.

Also I got a '68 twin reverb silver face plate.

I gave the guys my HRD (hot rod delux) and some cash and they gave me the twin.

I had to choose between a deluxe and a twin reverb. One of the hardest desisions I hade to make. Just wanted to say hi and post some pics.

Those are my babies. I know I went a little overboard with the pics, but I always loved seeing guys post there beauties, so I did :D

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on care, or tips on how to make it sound the best that it can.

I've had tube amps before but not real guitar tubes. Do you ever bias the tubes, or swap them out. I heard that tubes in these amps really make a difference when swapped out.

Anything else you can tell me would be great!

Anyway I hope you like!

You'd probably be better off putting in some NOS tubes in. Groove Tubes aren't anywhere as good as quality vintage ones.

I was waiting for ANY REPLY. Thanks thought. I was in the middle of the fire (CALI) I took the amp with me when I evacuated along with my guitars. It all made it ok. I took it out of the truck and was glad no tubes or anything was broken.

So I was thinking about changing the tubes. I think one might be busted. Where do you sugest buying them. Ebay's usualy my first thought but what do you think?
