Does anyone have info an a White guitar amp? All I know is that they were made by Fender. I have one and would like to know if many were made and how rare they are. The one I have is all original except for the leather handle and power cord. I ordered a Fender replacement handle and relpaced the power cord because they both had rotted away. Don't worry! I didn't throw anything away, drill new holes or modify the amp in anyway. The old parts were put in a bag. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think very many were made at all. Watch ebay and see how much they sell for on there. That will be pretty much the lowest price you can get one for.

white amps are rare.....

i think they were only made in 1956, and had a very similar circuit to the narrow panel princeton. its pushes approx. 5 watts through an 8" speaker. I played one and it had the orginal oxford, sounded great but a little dry. A new weber would make a world of difference. To tell how rare they are and how much they go for, look at the narrow panel princeton, the white should be slighly or even alot more. I wont guess because im not 100% sure on the value. But I will tell you they are hard to find.

There's some info in 'The Soul Of Tone' about the White amps. As much as I would like to have one, I have to tell you that getting rid of it will be a bad idea. Unless you want me to have it, in which case I think it's a brilliant idea.

What is the serial number?
