How do I get the tremolo working on my Deluxe-amp.Ab763?
A amp tech stuck a male rca head in the hole where the pedel goes and it kept the tremolo on so I would just turn the volume off of the tremolo when it wasn't being used...I tried the rca thing again but it doent work? Any ideas?
Also, where do I get a tremolo pedel for this model which :?: doesnt seem to be listed in the manuals on this site?
thanks

Try calling the tech and maybe he can walk you through it over the phone.
He may also know of a source for a pedal that will work with it.

Yeah you have to have a pedal with that amp to make the vibrato to work. He was just shorting the jack to show you that it works. You could just buy an RCA cable from radio shack and cut the wires and twist them together and it would work all the time but would only turn off with the volume knob or untwisiting the wires.

Hi there Skinnytubs, just wondering if you used the same RCA plug the tech used? One source for the footswitch would be Antique Electronic Supply ; www.tubesandmore.com(part #P-H270). I have one for my '67 Bandmaster, it's just fine and sturdy. You could check out any Fender Parts seller for prices. ART
