I looking at a timeline of fender amps, it states:

1948 - The first tweed covered amps are born.

http://www.fender-amp.com/timeline.asp

Is this the same as the '57 Deluxe Reissue?

I'm trying to find out what Fender amp the Behringer V Amp Tweed Combo model is modeled after. I want to get the real thing!

The first amps made by Fender had wood cabinets and had a stained finish. In 1948, Fender began to cover their amp cabinets with tweed. Hence the comment -" 1948 - The first tweed covered amps are born" - refers to a period of amp production when tweed was the exterior covering used on the amps.

Collectively, the tweed amp period (which lasts to around 1960) was when many of the innovations were being made in the circuits that make up the amps.

The 57 Deluxe you are referencing was a specific amp circuit (5E3) and is one of many tweed amps.

The key is finding out what circuit is used in (or modeled by) your Behringer. Then you can track which amp they are cloning or modeling.

I hesitate in all of this because - if I understand correctly - Behringer is a modeling amp and they might not necessarily be modeling a specific tweed amp.

Hopefully someone with a little more knowledge on your amp and the tweed circuits can step in and complete this response.
