Just picked up a '75 Pro Reverb modded to Blackface specs and I was wondering what you guys are using to add some dirt. I have a Barber DD which sounds pretty good, but I plan on picking something else up for a little more variety.

Have fun building your own. It's always a learning experience. very rewarding.

I suspect that once you have understood what the components do you no longer have to buy kits. The Mouser catalogue is good enough.

And they're even better topped with smoked salmon, a poached egg and some benedict sauce.

No problem. I actually built a box from scratch from Craig Anderton's book.(sorry if I misspelled the last name) I etched my own circuit board too. It still works great.
