Hi guys, I'm new to the forums, but I absolutely love Fender and specially Fender Stratocasters (my main guitars).

I'm recently getting into Fender amps too. I'm looking for a Fender amp, I play pop-rock/blues, think of a mix between John Mayer + Joe Bonamassa + Lenny Kravtiz.

I already have a Deluxe Reverb clone which sounds really good, but it's only 20 watts so it's great for recordig but not that loud for Live gigs.

what can you recommend me between the vintage amps?

How about a super reverb? It has 45 watts and is loaded with 4-10s.You could either get the 65 reissue or try getting a used one .I just picked up a used 75 silverface for about 650.

I would also reccomend a fender deluxe, and or, a deville. both are great for your kind of music. they both sound great clean and can dirty up too if you want them too. :)

50 watts, tone to kill for. No reverb ,but who cares. The heads can be had for 550-650 and you can wire up your own cab if you can't find the complete amp. I've got 12F150 Webers in the cab. 8) Mike

Silverface Pro Reverb, the earlier the better.

An early 1970s one is still very inexpensive and will get you where you want to be. They can also be changed to blackface specs by a competent amp repair guy, although they sound pretty good as is. The later models stray from the Blackface formula more and more and are more difficult or even impossible to get to blackface specs.

SF Vibroluxes are great too, but they're more expensive and the Pro is more amp for less money. Super Reverbs are too heavy for me and too loud.
