I wish I did, the blonde amps are the best looking Fender has produced.

I pretty sure mines a 61 but i'm not sure. Blonde Tolex piggyback with oxblood grill cloth and a single 12".I've had it over 30 years. Looking around on the internet to find someone reputable to give it a tune up.....

Best thing to do is find a tube repair place localy ask around, save your self the time and hassle of shipping it to someone out of state for tune up and check up and the risks.

Your Bandmaster head will need brand new filter caps, plate resistors, new tubes, clean the pots, change out a few bypass caps, power chord replaced with a grounded chord.

I have a 64 BFBM in blonde smooth tolex. The cab in that pic is not original to that head, the cab is like my original head and cab. bandmasters are some of my favorite fenders, from any era. The blackface non-reverb amps have something special that the reverbs dont have. the brownfaces like that one have amazing "vibrato" because its powered by the preamp. great piece that amp.

Yeah previously the cab pictured with the '62 bandmaster is a '64 cab, I have the correct cab for it now a mint '62 late'63 rough blonde with the wheat grill cloth and flat logo I'm so stocked! note the blackface handle transitional period, all stock 8) and not a repro, stamped year date is on one of the legs and inside the cab.

I'm a proud owner of a -72 Bandmaster Reverb, the best amp I've owned, sounds wonderful with it's natural tube distorsion.

I'm restoring a (not sure what year) '61 -'63 Bandmaster head. Has a brown face and I got the cream colored knobs and I'm going to redo the blond rough tolex. I thought it would have had the oxblood grill cloth but have recently seen a lighter colored cloth. Any info which is right? Thanks, Buddy

Wow - that's a great blonde Bandmaster. Congrats!

I just picked up a '65 Bandmaster head that needed a lot of work - you can see the results at http://gallery.me.com/nedorama#100188&bgcolor=black&view=grid

(still can't figure out how to post pictures in postings)

My Bandmaster is a '61 with the oxblood grill cloth, one 12" with tone ring. The reverb is '64 and the Mustang is '65. The latter two are all original. The amp already had a replacement output transformer when I bought it in 1966. I also did a filter cap job on it.
