I need some good suggestions for replacement speakers in a Hot Rod Deville 2x12. I would prefer them to be a bit less muddy in the mid range.

do you want a more "crisp" sound
for clean or overdrive chsnnel
try fideling with the tone controls before you replace stock speakers

Personally I would go with the "Big Mike Mix" of Scumbacks from www.southbayampworks.com

Email Jim and ask him about the "Big Mike Mix"
