Hi Guys, I'm new here so I hope you don't mind me coming straight in with a question.
I live in the UK and have recently acquired a 1962 Brown Deluxe amplifier. Its in a bad way, missing back panels, non-original speaker, no handle and some twonk has painted the tolex black. The good news is that the circuit and output transformer are definately original. However, I am a little unsure of the parentage of the power transformer. It currently has an RS unit with a variable voltage selector switch. It seems to be a similar age to the amp but I have no way of knowing.

Would somebody more knowledgable please tell me what power transformers Fenderamps were shipped with in 1962? If it is original, cool, if not, I will probably replace with a MM unit.

Cheers,

Steve
