My brother-in-law has a fender Economo Amp Ser # 2801 made around 1952-55 (we think). He recently aquired it in an estate sale. It is like brand new and works fine, complete with cover and extra tubes. His question is what is it worth. Some one offered him $300.00 and he refused (for more reasons than one) Does anyone have a good guess or know for sure? I think that it is a Deluxe TV front after going to Date fender amps.com. That one looks like it. 1948-53.

He really doesn't really want to sell it He just wanted to know what the value is. As I stated he got it in an estate sale. The estate of the man that taught him to play and they had been friends for over 30 years. It may be sold when he is gone but not before then. Thanks

You can type(in search engine) the amp name , vintage amps, or serial number to find what you want. I have a late '60s Super Reverb and found a schematic and other info online. It takes a little time.
