:) I have a fender Bassman Amp head. Serial number A45356.
Recently took it out of mothballs in the basement. Any way to tell what year it was made? I bought it somewhere around 1973.

The circuit number should be stamped in black ink on the tube chart. From there, go to www.ampwares.com and look up the circuit which will tell you the years your circuit was made. You can also tell from the transformer codes which there is a website that explains the codes:
http://www.ampwares.com/ampguide_dating_info.asp
The stamp code off the tube chart will tell you also.

If it's a silver face, it's 1968 or later, if it's black face, it's 1967 or earlier 60's
