hi! im new to the fender site and i've only been playing for about a year. the first amp i got(and still have) is a 1970something fender champ. i think its like a 10 inch speaker, sliverface. its in great condition, and had one of the original tunes in it. i replaced it though. still have the tube. i bought it for $40 bucks at a flea market and everything is original except the tube mentioned earlier and the plug. if anyone could tell me more about this, whether i got a good deal, how much its worth, etc., id love it if you helped!

Welcome to the Forum.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Put up some pics so we can take a look at it.

They have to be hosted on photobucket or somewhere like it.

That is a heck of a deal !!!

The silverface champs have been fetching about $300+ on eBay depending on condition.

I'd hold on to that amp. They are a nice practice and recording amp. You don't have to wake up the neighbors to get some nice tube overdrive out of it. 6 watts cranks up nicely.
