I have a 1970 Twin Reverb. I just got a Ext. speaker cabinet with two 12's 8 ohms wired in parellel for a 4 ohm load. Can I use this cabinet with my amp without any rewiring or other mods.

Thanks for any help.

The ohm rating should be there.

Nope, there is a torn paper label on the side with tube placements but no info of ohms ( might be on the part that was torn).
Thanks

Try to find documentation on the amp before you hook up that cab.

I think I have it, 2 x 12"/4 ohms (8 ohms each in parallel).
I would also like to use the Cabinet with my 65 reissue Super Reverb (4 X10's)
output on the Super is two ohms.

It's not as easy as just plugging in and playing. Using a 4 ohm cabinet with an amp that has a 2 ohm rating could seriously damage your amp.
To be on the safe side always match up your speaker ohms to your amp ohms.

I'm not real good at explaining the ohms thing, so I would suggest doing a little research on the subject.
