From your photos, the bypass and bias supply electrolytic caps have been replaced. The screen resistors have been replace with 5-watt wire-wound variety (this is also a good thing). The circuit appears to be an AA763. Like my Tremolux, which also lacks the 1k-ohm grid stopper resistors on the 6L6 signal grids --- unique to the AA763 circuit, IIRC.
+1, Looks good to me too. Nice looking amp StarcasterMax!

stratele52Last night I sprayed the tubes contacts and sockets but still with no result...

Max

Max did you plug and unplug all tubes many times ( 4-5 ) to make a complete cleaning job ?

If yes,

1- Is you 12AT7 is a know good tube ?
2- Your 2 ouput power tubes could be bad.
3- Rectifier tube could be bad.

Just to say the easiest thing to check

Could be a bad stand by switch.....Tubes heaters will get power and give the illusion of power being supplied.
Need to check to ensure B+ is being made available. Speaker hum could occur w/o powering the circuits.

stratele52, altogether I did plug and unplug 4 or 5 times, after the spray only 2 times...I'll give it another go
I tested the 12AT7 slot with a new tube I have, a Sovtek 12AT7WC
Rectifier and power tubes are brand new (respectively JJ and Tung Sol)
Also I tested the power tubes one at the time in my Champ 12 and they work fine
I uploaded more pics, the parts you see in one of the pic are the replaced ones at the time of the service

Looks to be in very good shape. Here's some photos of my 1963 Blonde.

BMW2002Ti Mine is not as clean as yours outside, mainly dirt which I'm planning to remove somehow

A short reminder to all: I can hear guitar sound coming out of the speakers, but it's just veeeery weak and it disappear raising the volume past 7 or 8
Cheers

Is the speaker cabinet connected to the correct output jack at the rear of the amp? It must be hooked up to the one marked "SPEAKER", not "EXT. SPEAKER".

BTW your amp was built in the 41st week of 1963.

Arjay yes it is, but I've tried both, just in case...
I'd guessed the birth date, thanks for the confirmation

Well, there is one tech I can go, he's said to be very good and reliable...it's not just around the corner but anyway...
I would have liked to go with a clue of what could be the problem, but, hey, "you can't always get what you want"
At least I've been confirmed that everything is as supposed to be in the amp...
I mean, like, nothing missing or been replaced with wrong/cheap parts, have I got this right?
Cheers

It might be the standby switch. See this post:

Easy enough to check. Alligator-clip a jumper wire across the spades of the standby switch and see what happens.

Agreed, but Max's previous posts made me presume he doesn't have clip leads or even a voltmeter. I was going more for the "spray some contact cleaner into the switch and exercise it" approach.

I thought he'd already been advised as such and had in fact done it.

I read it and is not exactly same issue. It easy to try Starcaster Max have a contact cleaner.

StarcasterMax, you can only spray by the front of the amp. Switch is all sealed.
Put the amp head showing the switch bat upside and spray where is the bat.
Move often the bat.

If it no success you can by pass the stanby switch 2 contacts with bare wire twisted with a pair of insulated pliers .

Be carful switch may have lethal voltage

Best is to use good jumper cable as suggested

Surprise. surprise, I do have alligator clips and even a voltmeter (or tester if it's the same thing)
So, could it be that not enough current passes thru the switch?
If I clip both ends of the switch, the switch is bypassed and current flow directly into the amp, right?
Or I could test how much voltage passes thru the switch (dangerous?)
I can also spray the switch, done this before on amps and guitars
Do I take it that you all think this can't be a major issue, like damaged P/T and or O/T or even the little thing in the middle I guess you call Choke?
Cheers
