First you can't post something on the forum and say it's for sale, second that grill cloth on the Princeton looks odd, here's the cloth on one of my '66 amps for comparison.

That's what was on it when I bought it. What's odd about it?

Aside from the replaced power tranny, it looks like it's "all there".

And it seems to be a righteous example, cosmetically......almost as clean as my '65.

Vintage textiles often age differently, even among grill cloth pieces originally cut from the same roll but sent to different parts of the country and then exposed to various environmental contaminants.

I wouldn't be concerned at all.

I'm not to worried about it. But I will put up a picture when I get some batteries for my camera.

The original plug is also not original. It's been replaced by a three-prong plug. Also don't think the cap can is original either. I should get another picture to show that also.

The tone is really nice. I had a 1970 silverface that had different tone. I think the difference was mostly the Oxford speaker in the silverface. The '66 has a Jensen.

Sorry about breaking any rules by mentioning that it's for sale.

Things periodically need to be replaced on these old amps -- just be sure to save any removed original parts if possible and of course, trust only a qualifed tech for any required servicing.

There really isn't any redeeming aural quality to an original Oxford 10J5 -- from a sonic standpoint, you're much better off with the Jensen. My '65 *probably* had the Oxford as OEM (it came to me with a non-standard Quam "musak" speaker) but I installed a freshly-reconed Fender-marked CTS alnico from a '67 Super Reverb. It sounds awesome.

Hey man, after looking at another pic you had,it looks okay,I thought it looked odd because the color didn't look right, but on computer monitors and pics from different cameras things can look different than they do in real life...I know when I take pics of my Strats the color never comes out the way it really is.
Sorry that I mentioned the rule about no sales, but some people around here get bent out of shape and notify the moderator,Brad....which I didn't do.

Here's a quick shot of my PD dated 1966 Bassman, once again, not nearly as pristine as Arjay's amps, but she's all there and purrs like a panther content in the shadows, or growls like she has something else on her mind:

+1

She's a beaut, Garry!

I've got a PD-dated Bandmaster that positively screams through a pair of V30's......

They just don't build them like this anymore.

Rawk on!
