I have a 65 Vibrolux Reverb, a 71 Princeton Reverb, and an old Showman, head only no speaker, and I have never had any work but retubing done the the Vibrolux. I need to clean up a channel on the Princeton, and I haven't even plugged in the Showman, because I need a fusecap.

I was lucky enough to walk into a '64 black-face Bassman head with a matching 2X12 cab. I don't use the cab due to the fact that it's bigger than a modern 4X12 but the head sounds great through everything I've ever plugged it into. Just can't match the beautiful simplicity of that head. Although it was modded to have a presence control on the back (in place of one of the speaker-outs). Just plug in, crank it, and wail!

I bought a Fender Vibroverb "way back" in 1964. Played in a surfing band for a few years, then put it in the garage until just recently. Got inspired to resume guitar playin', had the tubes and capacitors replaced ... and now I have a "vintage" 1964 Vibroverb that sounds great. This is about the only thing I've ever kept that increased in value.

I've been thru a pile of amps of all makes and models. Fenders are my hands down favorites and the last of the tweeds are my favorite Fenders. I'm dying to try out a 57 Twin RI! This is what I still use daily for practice and most gigs. I play steel guitar mainly and my steel sings thru 10's. It isn't the best shot but it's the only one I have uploaded at the moment.

November 1958 5F4 Super. This amp came from a little old lady that used the low-gain input for her Accordian! No joke. It's still 100% stock sonicly, with the exception of a 3 prong cord, and is still quiet and reliable.
It was recovered with Black Tolex at some point, and not that well. It's REALLY clean with stock, but reconed, P10R's. so the only reason I can figure for it being recovered was to keep up with the times.

January 1964 6G15 Reverb unit in the popular smooth white tolex. I use only a bit of reverb but the additional pre-amping of the signal is something I enjoy. :D

I just picked up a 1973 Champ for cheap. I'll post pictures after I've got her cleaned up.

if you have pictures on your computer, use http://www.photobucket.com to upload your pictures. it has an image tag generator, which is virtually idiot-proof. if there is a picture on the internet that you like, right-click on the picture and choose "properties", copy the address where it says image location, and then paste the address surrounded by the image tags.

try it out on the image i posted. don't bother posting it though, just click preview to see if it worked.
