Here it is.:

I own a Champ 12 which I modded with Torres. Sounds great but I found a nice little Silver Face Vibro Champ for $300.

Champ 12 is 10w with 12".
Vibro Champ is 5w with 8".

I play at home only and I would think the Vibro Champ might sound better cranked up than the Champ 12, giving a more vintage tone. Also I can get that $300 back selling my Champ 12.

Need input though from you guys before I make a final decision.

10 watts is not twice as loud as 5. I have a 74 SF Champ, that's great sounding and is actually pretty loud. You can also drive larger speakers with it. The Vibrato's a nice touch. I'd dump the Champ 12. Torres really doesn't have a real good rep with their components or mod kits. I've seen lots of friends amps go up in smoke using Torres and they won't back it up.

Well, too late. The guy sold it already, I also came by a silver face twin for $500 but it sold right away too... Oh well, I'll keep my eyes opened.

I wish I still had my '65 Blackface Champ.

I found a 71 Twin Reverb for $500 on CL, I'll try to go take a look at it this weekend, again I know it will go fast. Good price and good shape too...
