Hello
I am sure this has been covered a million times before, but I would really appreciate some help dating my newly acquired Deluxe Reverb. I just picked it up the other day to ad to my collection.
The serial # is A619411. I have done some research but I am getting mixed results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks John

John,

Sorry to say that any serial number A followed by 6 additional numbers matches any database does not come up with any match.

I find that this reference http://www.ggjaguar.com/fendamp6.htm

is a better reference than http://www.superiormusic.com/page195.htm

as far as references to Fender Serial Number guides, particularly in reference to Princetons.

More information might be helpful, as to this is a Deluxe or a Deluxe Reverb. Pictures of the amp would be especially helpful, including pictures of the chassis, transformer numbers etc.

Regards,
vinyl

That's not how I see it.

(from your own preferred reference source)

Eventually, the hope is to have enough info for a more detailed breakdown on the B series, A+6 digit and F+6 digit series. For now, the dating schemes for these series are:
A6 + 5-digits – 1976-77

A7 + 5-digits – 1977-78

A8 + 5-digits – 1978-79

A9 + 5-digits – 1979-80

(color emphasis added for clarity)

The OP's amp is a 76/77 silverface (it may or may not have the pull-boost volume control on the vibrato channel). It cannot be confused with a non-reverb Deluxe since that model was discontinued in 1966.
