Finished my restoration... here's how it looks now in proper piggyback conformation (pretty good, if I do say so myself!)
Gonna go up for sale soon.
Thanks for all your help!

Very nice!

Glad we could be of assistance.

Man, that is a sweet looking amp + cab combination! You putting it onto eBay or CL? I'd be interested, but I already have too many toys. [Bassman drip-edge era].

Thanks!
I’ll start by posting it on Craigslist (Louisville, KY) and Reverb... then on to eBay if I don’t get any action in a few weeks. The need for local pick up due to the size and weight will unfortunately limit my buyer market.

Well done! Nothing more fun than refurbing a vintage Fender amp. Quite the sense of accomplishment and now its ready to rock for another 50 years!

Ironic that virtually no amplifier made by Fender today will last fifty months.

So much for "progress".

+ 1M! Fillin' the landfill. You don't see people climbing the mound to retrieve a beat up Mustang II. Ford or Fender.

Except you said that about my Fender Mustang III v1 which has been going strong for 79 months so far. Where is the good/bad cutoff? I also have a 1990's Fender Ultimate Chorus amp that's bulletproof.

Blondy is looking much better without "big head" syndrome.
