Swapped out the both 80uf 75V caps for 100uf 100V as recommended by one of the guys posts in this thread and VIOLAAAAA!!! Done works fine, no more redplating, also cleaned out the pots as they were scratchy. I cant wait to put her back into her 6x10 cabinet

Great but Job is not finish,

1-How many negative volts on 6L6's pin 5 ? Schematic show -52 volts ( minus 52 volts )
Tube negative bias voltage may need some fine tuning for best tone and longer tubes life.

2- What is the bias ? How many milliamp at pins 8 ?

Bias ;
A correctly biased amp will run efficiently and maximizes the life of your tubes.

Under - biased (hot ) amps will lack of punch and tubes will run hotter , shorter tube's life .
Overbiased amps ( cold ) will sound thin and brittle. with tubes running too cool for proper performance .
A correctly biased amps will sound clean and tight a moderate volumes, than at higher volumes breakup and distort musically .

I will pick up 2 new axial caps today install and then read voltages on tubes pin 5 and report my findings back.

We're waiting. But I'm not holding my breath.

Ryan41018, glad the caps worked. My bet, that add-on radial cap was doing the bozo "no-no."

:)

This cap could be short to ground, caps issue or twisted wired
