Are those JBL's original? Was it an option? I don't remember these coming with anything but Eminences.

They are the speakers that came with the amp, don't have anything to compare to.
Both channels are great....clean and crisp & lead with a bit of dirt and crunch.

Apparently both JBL and EV were options. The last page of the '83 amp catalog courtesy of http://www.stratopastor.org.uk

Yes and I ordered it with the JBLs.
Stratopastor's brochure is slightly different from the
US version, different "shadows", a few different amps...
Montreux & London. I still have the original brochure,
owner's manual & schematic. Most of these pics I took
a few months ago. The shot with the grill cloth off, is after
I started cleaning it up....inside and out.

Thanks! That ad sparked a few extra brain cells! Brought back some nice memories and made me go look through my old Guitar Player mags and sure enough that ad was on the back of one of em!

Thx...of course like many of us, I sold off most of my gear in the 90s. The wine red
Gibson Les Paul Custom, SG & Bassman Head (I probably had the head hooked up
to one of those crappy cabinets with a guitar cable...didn't know what I had). The
Stratocaster was a friend's guitar and as far as I know hasn't been played in 30 years
and sitting in his closet.
The "newer" pic has a few that I've let go, the Epi Firebird, Epi by Gibson bass and
Starcaster and a few others that I let go to upgrade to "newer" guitars. In the pic is
2013 Les Paul Standard Desert Burst, 2001 Strat-57 reissue-Gold, 1975 Ibanez Deluxe 59er,
on table: Fender Acoustic ($5 at yard sale), Epi Firebird, 1980s Squire Strat MIJ, Ibanez Acoustic,
Epi Les Paul Special, Starcaster Acoustic and Epi SG ($65 at yard sale, have upgraded pots and pups.
Back to floor, 1985 Guild D-55 Acoustic, Gretsch "Round-Up", 1988 Guild D-25 12 string, 2006?
Tele Deluxe and the Epi Bass. I had a few more which I let go and now also have:
2017 Gibson Firebird-Sunburst, Limited Ed. Precision Bass with Jazz neck-P & J pickups-Sunburst,
2014 Gibson SG "Futura" w/ Sidewinder pick-up in neck position & boost switch-Red, 2013 Martin D-35,
Epiphone Sheraton II-Sunburst, Gretsch Hollowbody-Special Edition-Blue Sparkle & Gretsch Honey
Dipper Resonator.
