Why change socket if he only need the bulb ?
Why need a NOS 47 bulb? A bulb is a bulb.

i've got the T47 bulb on a electronic shop here for 7 € and about the other parts thanks to this website http://www.stratopastor.org.uk/strato/a ... nders.html about the Fender amps world ( to me it seems a Holy Grail for Fender ) i get the right cod # and buy them directly from Fender website.

7 Euros ! You may have a box of 50 T 47 bulb :lol:
T47 bulb cost less than 20 centimes

yes at the shop down my street , was a box of 2 bulbs so 3,50 € each...and it cost 20 cents ? damn it....i get it now how they make money :-)

Yes 20 cents. In North America, electronic stuff is cheap.
