Hi all, our studio was vandalized in a party, and my Basement Ten amp was broken. I am looking for replacement parts for the broken tubes (the visible tubes at the back of the amp) and fuze. I believe it's the 50 W version.

Where would I find these parts?

Thanks!

Antique Electronic Supply is a good place to start.

Sorry to hear about the vandalism.

Curious/concerned about the fuse damage. If it happened during the vandalism, wouldn't the fuse holder have been damaged?

If the fuse popped because you turned on the amp before you realized the output tubes were shattered, there could be other internal electrical damage and it would be best to have a tech check it out before you power it up again.

On my phone I can't enlarge the schematic.

But I assume a 50w silverface would need to have the bias checked and adjusted when installing new 6L6's.

Yes, maybe not if you put same tubes brand

The OP describes them as "the big tubes in the back of the amp" and has no idea where to get replacements.

I get the impression that he doesn't know a power tube from a preamp tube. Doesn't know a 6L6 from a 6V6, and doesn't know what brand they were. Or how old -- they may have been the original RCA's or Sylvanias.

A lot of musicians know absolutely nothing about how amps work. They plug in, turn it on, and play. I suspect the schematic looked like hieroglyphics to the OP and that he couldn't even find the tubes on it, nor which ones are "the big ones in the back".

Amp had its tubes physically broken, and somehow the fuse too? Highly likely it's not a good idea to put new tubes in it, turn it on and pray it works.
