I got this Pro Reverb in the other day for a checkup. When I pulled the chassis I found this. All the blue molded caps were leaking? Really?

He changed quite a few resistors, too. Was the amp giving you a lot of trouble? Poor tonal quality?

I see many times on forums some guys don't know how to diagnose amps. Just know how to replace parts until amps work. :(

I'm not sure of the history. This amp was purchased by a friend of mine, bought from one of his neighbors who had it sitting in the basement for a few years. He brought it to me to be serviced if needed. I figured the filter and bypass caps, and a few resistors, the normal stuff, would need to be replaced. When I opened it up I found it had been worked on and in my opinion, cannibalized.
