I've my Dual Showman Reverb for a couple years and it's been my main (and only) gigging amp since I got it. The regular "speaker" jack on the back was a bit janky when I got it, but the "ext. speaker" jack worked fine and I've just been rolling like that the whole time; it's been serviced a few times but I've never felt compelled to see if any tech has noticed or bothered to fix that.

That said, I just scooped up a Bassman 135, and in reading more about that amp and how one out is 4ohm and the other (the ext. speaker out) is 8ohm, I'm wondering if the same may be true of my Dual Showman? I'm curious now if I've been mismatching my head with a 4ohm 215.

Thx yall

DF, welcome to the Forum. Love your moniker! :)

AFAIK, the output impedance for the Dual Showman (Ultra-linear) is 4-ohms.
