Good day.
I have a Fender Twin Reverb from '70. It has new tubes and was serviced 6 months ago.

Sometimes it behaves strange. There is loud noise (not really ticking or hum) at the frequency of the vibrato.
- It comes through both channels
- is independent of the volumes
- goes faster / slower with the speed knob, but the depth does not change it.
- changing tube for vibrato doesn't fix it
Out of the blue, like it comes, it is gone another time I turn it on. Then it remains OK for weeks. That's why I ask here, because it's difficult to repair if it is not always a problem. Most of the time the vibrato works perfectly.

Does the amp do this issue before servicing few months ago ?

Look a wire dress issue, or noisy tube.

Good point. I only had it 1-2 months before service, but it never acted like that.
At this moment it is ok, so would you open it up and fiddle with the cables until he does it again? If it was a solderpoint, it would be always like that.

I opened her up and I found I resistor (I think) that had a bad solder. That should solve it.
While I was busy tapping, I heard a noise when tapping when tapping a round component. It reads 20% D.003. Is it normal that I hear myself tapping that?

Seems not to work, see here https://ibb.co/fj3Ypv

Sommes parts are not originals. Somebody work on this amp.

20% D.003.

It is a ceramic cap, doing noise could be normal.

I know it has been serviced regulary. It was gigged it's whole life.
The last owner sent it to the same technician that I go, so I'm confident it is OK.
