I know, it seems cheap but it's a 8hours round trip and the owner don't seems too willing to send me gut shots.

Without the certitude of matching parts, I won't risk it.

Thanks all for you help.

Might be too much amp, for your use. Esp, if you are only going to play at home. Not gigging with many others.

Does the amp need to be a brownface? Good ones are so $$$ these days. Maybe a nice silverface Princeton Reverb, that needs restoration? Drip-edge would be nice.

Just a thought...

That's not the problem, BMW.

As mentionned in my introduction post, I owned a 1964 Bandmaster (sold it few months ago), '55 5D3 Deluxe and now own two 1964 Bassman (6G6-B & AA864) and a Silverface Super & Vibrochamp. I use them all to thei full potential.

So, it won't be my first Fender, neither my last. I have some knowledge on those amps and wanted a second opinion on those Transfo, as I've never seen any of them.

Most transition era Fender amp, that I've seen used Triad or Schumacher irons.

Nice pair of Bassman amps! I have a drip-edge beast. Reverted back to AA864 circuit. :)

Thanks, man. Never had the chance to try those Drip-edge, how was the tone for guitar-use, before the mods?

You ought to install drip-edge moldings to that speaker enclosure's baffle board, to match the amp head.

Yes, I should. Maybe, later this summer. Would that require a new baffle board?

Speakers I loaded into that cab. :)

You'll need to shave 1/16" from each of the baffle board's four side edges to accommodate the extruded aluminum molding. Molding and corner pieces are both available on Ebay.
