The only pic I have as of now. A little rusty, but nothing that cant be cleaned or replaced. Should be at the house in 10-14 days.

You'll have a ball with that little thing.

Thanks, the only time I've ever played one was when I was in the Army in the early 80's. They stocked Bronco, Princeton, Deluxe Reverbs and Twins in the MWR(morale welfare & recreation center).

I remember those days. At the rec center at Ft. Rucker in 1969 they had an old Strat (somewhere between a '59 and a '63) and a beat-up blackface Concert Amp. Together they sounded like heaven and I'd sign them out every time I had a free moment from training. There were several great musicians in my platoon and we'd jam on weekends.

Well, finally received the Bronco & the SR today, unpacked the boxes and everything looks legit w/ the exception of the bottom piece of tolex of the Bronco; it is a vinyl replacement poorly stapled on.
All the major components codes are good but I haven't plugged anything in.

Mom(77) went to the hospital w/ pneumonia last night, may take me away from home for a bit so I may not get to these for a while.

Vibes and mojo for your mom -- hope she gets to feeling better soon.

I may have a piece of Tolex for you, holler if you need it.

Appreciate the kind thoughts and mojo wishes. I'm still at home, so the 1st 24hrs were successful and she is resting comfortably. They will do more tests and observe for 2-3 days, then release her if everything is headed in the right direction.

The camera battery is on the charger, so I'll post a few pictures Wednesday if possible.
What is the recommended schematic? VC AA764 seems the closest of the schematics I have on hand.
The rest of the amp appears to be in pretty fair condition (light rust every where, missing vibrato pedal and cabinet label, bottom tolex bad) having not opened it yet. Came with orange label RCA tubes in V4,V3 blk plate,V2 and V1 12ax7a grey plate. The alnico speaker has no visible markings and the baffle screws seem overly long as do the chassis strap screws maybe 3" overall length. The PT is 606-9-44/022772 and the OT is 606-003/F022905. Two prong power cord. That's what I see for now.

Good news about your mom, Erik!

My '68 Bronco's tube chart says it's an AA764 so I guess that's what we're stuck with. Check your cap can against the schematic though -- your newer edition may have the 40/20/20 values.

FWIW... My 1968 is an AA764 circuit, too. And it came with the taller 40/20/20 Mallory cap can. I recommend using this, over the 20/20/20... as long as you are using a strong 5Y3GT rectifier.

+1

I concur -- the higher value of the reservoir stage will tighten up the bass response.

One mod I made to mine (totally reversible) was to replace the RCA phono pin output jack with a standard ¼" phone plug. This makes it more convenient to connect the amp to an external speaker cab.
