True, it would be the same amp regardless. I only mentioned the speakers because of the apparent discrepancy of their date codes. You might also check the EIA codes stamped on each of the transformers to glean more information regarding the actual build date.

The Vibrolux Reverb is a fine amp, one of Leo's most versatile designs. I have a blackface 1966 model, built in January. It's one of the rare editions that was factory fitted with Jensen C10NS speakers -- it sounds as tasty as frying bacon smells.
