If you are going to use an extension cabinet with a twin do you have to disconnect the amps own speakers? Also the extension cabinet should be 4 ohms like it says on the back of the amp.

You can leave the speakers as they are and run a line out wire to a 1/4 jack/plug-type if you want.

You would have to get each speaker at 8 ohms, and run them in
parallel, then you will have the 4 ohms your OT is looking for. (or 2 - 4 ohm speakers in series).
