Post subject: trying to locate a jewel collar for silverface super reverb

hi there i have a 1980 silverface super reverb that is missing the sleeve/collar? that goes behind the jewel and secures the faceplate , ive included a pic of what i mean incase im not doing a very job of describing it.i cant seem to find one anywhere (would help if i knew exactly what it was called?) can anybody help me out?

Fist time I see that. I never see 1980 SR
A look at my Vibrolux Reverb early '70 and I see some scratch from a ring which is missing now ! I'll post picture soon.

May I ask you why you are looking for that piece ?

That type of pilot-lamp installation replaced the earlier blackface style sometime in the mid 1970's. It's actually a stamped-steel oversize washer that's been chrome-plated. I have a spare that I'll never have use for -- yours for the asking. Contact me via PM to arrange for shipment.

Agree with Arjay. Looks like a flat washer. Maybe able to get one close to size, at hardware. Or you could get this PR and use its washer. :lol:

Not precisely flat -- the hole is slightly flanged so that the jewel stands proud from the panel. Damn Photobucket is "down for maintainence" at the moment, otherwise I'd post a photo of the washer. Three of my late silverfaces (Princeton, Bassman 135, and Twin Reverb) have this type of pilot-lamp assembly.
